Clint Eastwood
About surviving a plane crash in 1951; “I thought I might die, then I thought ‘other people have made it through these things before.’ I kept my eyes on the lights on shore and kept swimming.”
I like this quote because it describes a moment in a life and death crisis where Eastwood is at a crossroads; he’s considering his fate in the middle of the crisis and he decides to live.
Krav Maga reality based self defense training is tough training designed to push you to your limits physically and emotionally. If you can cope in a demanding environment that challenges you then you will be better prepared to deal with real threats and attacks. You will be aware of your proven ability to overcome against adversity in training and this knowledge will provide you with a reserve of strength and fortitude so that you will persevere, make the right decisions and survive threats and attacks.
In our Krav Maga training we train to deal with common threats and attacks by unarmed and armed attackers. We train to develop physical fitness and an aggressive mindset. We are training our minds to solve problems under stress. We are building bodies that can do what we need them to do when it’s all on line. We training ourselves so that like Clint Eastwood, in the water far offshore, we can find a way to survive.
